Replacement of the Municipal Line II (SL 2) Mannenberg

Replacement of the water transmission line Wassertransportleitung ST DN600 CM/FCM CAT from Mannenberg Reservoir to Lutschenstrasse. The existing pipeline II was converted into a disharge line. The existing municipal line II in Badhausstrasse was extended by 60 m (ST DN500 CM/FCM), incl. construction of a new outlet structure (stilling well with stilling basin and valve chamber) as discharge into the River Worble. Using the ramming method with a ST DN1000 cladding tube it was possible to cross underneath Worblenstrasse and the RBS-rail track and the existing culverted Waldau Canal was crossed. In addition, a PE DN 120 cable conduit route was constructed between Mannenberg Reservoir and Chrüzweg pumping station for a signal cable incl. flushing. At the same time the water distribution lines were replaced in Ittigen and Bolligen.
