Innertkirchen – Wimmis 220 kV Transmission Line, Strengthening of Foundations of Masts 109 and 110

Project planning and calculation of measures to secure the foundations of masts nos. 109 and 110 in the River Lütschine in Wilderswil/Matten. During flooding the foundations of the two anchor portals partially become part of the water course. The mast foundations on the left, which are in the channel, have therefore been secured with carpet block ramps and a protection against impact, debris jamming and scouring during flooding. The base of the embankment of the River Lütschine was also reinforced with stones in parallel to the existing safeguarding concept.

Mast 109: Lattice tower,
total height 27 m, span 30 m. Securing foundations with stones > 1.5 tonnes at the base of the embankment of the River Lütschine, protection against scouring and carpet block ramps with blocks of approx. 0.5 tonnes, impact protection and driftwood deflection with blocks of 1.0 - 1.5 tonnes.

Mast 110: Lattice tower,
total height 27 m, span 30 m. Securing foundations with stones > 1.5 tonnes at the base of the embankment of the River Lütschine, protection against scouring and carpet block ramps with blocks of approx 0.5 tonnes, impact protection and driftwood deflection with blocks of approx. 1.0 - 1.5 tonnes.

Adaptation of the hiking trail along the River Lütschine near Mast No. 110.
