Replacement of the Utility Lines in Brambergstrasse

The Civil Engineering Authority of the City of Lucerne, Department of Urban Drainage, ewl Wasser AG and ewl Rohrnetz AG replaced the utility lines along the Brambergstrasse in Lucerne over a length of approx. 600m. The water, gas and mixed water pipes had to be replaced because of their condition. During construction works the road was closed off to traffic in sections and the bus operation was diverted. Brambergstrasse was resurfaced in the sections where the utility lines were replaced. The surface will be replaced along the whole width later.
