Replacement of Utility Lines in Zinggentorstrasse

The utility lines were replaced along a 320m stretch of the Zinggentorstrasse in Lucerne by ewl Wasser AG, ewl Kabelnetz AG and the Civil Engineering Authority of the City of Lucerne (Dept. of Urban Drainage). Due to their condition the water, cable and mixed water pipes had to be completely replaced. During construction works Zinggentorstrasse was closed off to traffic in sections. The road was resurfaced where pipes had been replaced. The surface will be replaced over the complete breadth of the road at a later date.
