The Sihl–Lake Zurich Relief Tunnel is one of Switzerland’s most significant flood protection projects and will, in future, protect the city of Zurich from the consequences of extreme flooding. The project is being carried out on behalf of the Department of Public Works of the Canton of Zurich.
