On 3 August 2026, the full closure for track renewal at Uetendorf station began successfully.
Over the next three weeks, approximately 2 × 500 m of track and six sets of points will be renewed. The works include the renewal of the sub-base, the installation of AC-Rail and the construction of a new track drainage system.
At the same time, the two level crossings within the project area will be upgraded: at Dorfstrasse, track support slabs will be used, whilst at Postgässli, a track covering made of elastomer slabs will be installed.
